The army size directly depends on the country’s population and its mobilization potential. In the table below there is the information about human resources, mobilization potential and armed forces size of Egypt and Ecuador in 2025.

As for the economy size, Egypt with its GDP of 2227 billion dollars (which was calculated by purchasing power parity) surpasses Ecuador with its GDP of 287 billion dollars in times.

Egypt and Ecuador send 0,26 % and 0,83 % of GDP to the military expenses, respectively. As a result, the military budget of Egypt is 5.88 billion dollars and of Ecuador is 2.38 billion dollars.
